After purchasing the DXG-535V camcorder recently, I was very disappointed to find that it only maintained power for 30 minutes of video time. I was aware that the source of power was via 4 AAA batteries. This didn’t cause me concern inasmuch as the product had many of the features I was looking for. Also, it was unrealistic to even consider that a camcorder would be manufactured that required using up 4 batteries every 30, or so, minutes! There is no mention of the amount of video time this camcorder provides. Is the manufacturer concerned that this might deter consumers from purchasing it–if so, why sell a product that meets favorably in so many ways, and then fail in the most important area–the ability to make it usable.
