ABC-TV Lists the DXG Luxe as One of the Hot Gifts for the Holidays
ABC-TV Chicago taps the Consumer Electronics Association for projected consumer spending for the holidays and the gadgets that are hot on the shopping list. The DXG Luxe “couture camcorder” is one to watch.
September 30, 2009 — Holiday shopping forecasts are generally grim, but it appears that shoppers still want to buy electronic items. A survey by the Consumer Electronics Assn. shows that consumer confidence in technology and consumer electronics jumped, while confidence in the overall economy fell slightly in September. That indicates that consumers seem more willing to spend dollars on electronic products that other goods. The survey indicates sales will stay steady or increase for digital TVs and monitors, Blu-Ray players, smart phones and netbooks.
